Artisian Pesto Bread Ring




Put the following ingredients in the breadmaker in the order listed:

1 1/2 Cups Warm Water
4 cups Bread Flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp active dry yeast

Select 'dough setting'.

When dough has risen, plop out onto lightly floured surface.

Using a sharp knife, cut dough into 2 (for a twist) or 3 (for a braid) equal pieces.

Roll out pieces into snakes.

Twist or braid dough and place on stone.

Add whatever seasonings you'd like. I put pesto in the creases, and a garlic/rosemary blend on top.

Let rise again for about 30 minutes to an hour.

In a 375 degree preheated oven, bake for 27-30 minutes.

Slice and enjoy.
